Before I begin discussing the contents of my psyche, allow me to explain who I am, my purpose, the meaning of my blog title and my goal. I'm a teenager in today's world; a world corrupted by sex, drugs and mainstream media. Believe what you will of me, there are few people's opinions that I have come to value. I am drenched in sarcasm. Some may find it amusing whereas some find it offensive or distasteful. I welcome your opinions.
I am not using this blog as a mere way to vomit my words to the world. This is mainly a source by which I can voice my opinion about societal issues. I am not one-sided. I am open to both sides of the story and plan to present them in my posts. I plan to cause debate through controversy- a lot of it, in fact. If there's no debate, how can we, as a society, plan to move forward to new ideas?
The meaning of the title? I'm assuming you all know the meaning of the word "society." If not, google.com is merely a click away. Well, unbalanced has several meanings. It could mean lop-sided or weighted on one side. It can also mean disturbed. All three of these words describe the viewpoints of many in American society today.
I plan on trying to make the world a better place. My intentions are good, believe me. My goal here is to provide a place where people can learn to accept other's opinions and compromise through debate. That SHOULD be the outcome of debate; instead, many just use it to mindlessly argue and hold grudges. Also, I'd appreciate no vulgarity. That would be nice :) So... please take advantage of this place I have created! Enjoy!
